We are developing the next generation of electric motors. Kite Magnetics is combining novel nanocrystalline magnetic materials (Aeroperm™) with advanced manufacturing methods to produce the world’s highest-performance electric motors that fly further, carry more, and pollute less.

Our Aeroperm™-based nanocrystalline cores allow for lighter electric motor designs without sacrificing performance.

Higher efficiency

Our Aeroperm™-based nanocrystalline core materials offer 10x lower core losses than traditional core materials allowing ultra-high efficiency operation over a wide wide range of speeds.

Increased reliability

Our ultra-efficient electric motors produce less waste heat which simplifies cooling requirements, lowers operating temperatures and extends motor life.

Zero emissions

Our lighter and more efficient electric motors will accelerate the adoption of all-electric aviation, cutting emissions of CO2, NOx, sulfates and soot aerosols sooner.
